The Forge It Anew quest in Blood of Dawnwalker sees you trying to reforge St. Mihai’s Silver Sword after you acquired it during A Monk and a Saint. Vrakhiri aren’t very fond of silver, as you’ve likely surmised, so this sword will make for a potent vampire-slaying tool. You’ll have to track down the missing sword shards and then a blacksmith to put them all together, so here’s where to look.

There are three sword shards located in Kobold nests around Vale Sangora that you need to find before you can reforge the Sword of St. Mihai.

The first sword shard is located in the northeast corner of the Maragir Wealds, to the northeast of the Upper Maragir Wealds shrine, across the river. You’ll find a cave, along with a trail you can follow, which begins the Forge It Anew: Do Not Disturb quest. Pursue the trail into the Kobold den, kill them, and then take the shard from the broken cross. There should also be a cave painting map here that will give you quest markers for the other shard locations if you examine it.

The second sword shard is in the north of the Rockfalls region, east over the mountains from the Westridge Outpost shrine, though actually accessible from the east if you head through the forest. It’s also directly southwest from the Giant’s Pawns shrine.

You’ll find a Kobold nest with a white X above the entrance, and inside, a corrupted Kobold called Munch-Munch, starting the Forge It Anew: Hostile Takeover quest. This is a fairly tricky boss who poisons on hit, but once defeated, you can grab the sword shard from the nest. Again, there’s a map here that will mark the other shard locations.

The final sword shard is in south St. Tyna’s Grove, directly southeast from the Crossroads Inn where you meet Anca for the Echoes of Silenced Bells quest. Head south from the Crossroads Inn shrine outside, then take the left road going up into the hills to find the Kobold nest, beginning the Forge It Anew: Executive Order quest.

Searching the den, you’ll find that the sword shard has been taken to one of Xanthe’s camps to the west in The Silts. Follow the marker here, defeat the enemies, and grab the final shard from the small chest in the main tent.

Where to find the Uriashi blacksmith

Now you have all the shards, you need a blacksmith to put them together. I’d already met the Uriashi blacksmith before this point in the quest, so I’m unsure if it makes you find them, but either way, you want to head to the Uriashi Hermitage shrine in northwest Briar Sloughs, through the forest and up the hill.

Here you’ll find a big standing stone in the middle of a circle, and a lone hornless Uriashi, who will agree to reforge the sword if you speak to her. The final step is heading up the hill into an ancient ruin, defeating some enemies, and quenching St. Mihai’s Sword in a rather cursed looking red orb of magic. With this, you’ll gain the legendary Imbued Sword of St. Mihai. It has an extremely good weapon art which actually changes depending whether it’s day or night—I personally prefer the AoE daytime version.
