T-Mobile laid off 121 workers in Washington state, according to a filing with the Washington state Employment Security Department posted on Friday.

GeekWire previously reported on T-Mobile’s layoffs earlier this week. The Bellevue, Wash.-based wireless carrier did not provide details about number of workers impacted but said the cuts affected employees within its IT organization.

T-Mobile employed about 70,000 people as of Dec. 31, 2024. The company has nearly 8,000 employees in the Seattle region, according to LinkedIn.

T-Mobile, which recently closed its acquisition of UScellular’s wireless operations, reported $17.4 billion in services revenue for its most recent quarter, up 6% year-over-year, and net income of $3.2 billion — up 10% and a quarterly record. Its stock is up more than 30% in the past 12 months.

Oracle and F5 also recently laid off workers in the Seattle area.
