2011 was packed with iconic games: Can you guess which ones we reviewed from a quote and the score?

PC Gamer has been around for a long time now, and boy do we have the magazine archive to show for it. When you start sifting through the pile, some years stand out for their historical leaps in technology or gauntlet of big releases—looking at you, Baldur’s Gate 3 summer—and then there’s 2011. A lot happened in 2011.

When it comes to new game releases, 2011 was a year for the books. I’m not going to start naming every new game that launched back then, lest I give away too many hints about the trial ahead, but I will say I still have a few 2011 games in my backlog. It’s been 15 years, so it’s probably time I admit I’m not going to play them, but I’m stubborn and still a constant victim of impulse Steam sale purchases.
