Arc Raiders’ new Riven Tides update features a new limited-time event called Last Resort. This event runs from April 28 through May 25 (so almost an entire month), and you can earn some exclusive rewards for your hard work. If 250 Raider Tokens, a new outfit, and a backpack sound interesting to you, then you’ll need to get your grind on.

Speaking of grind, you’ll also want to whizz through the Avian Alarm project. This is home to a bunch of rewards, including a Dockmaster’s Detector, the metal detector that you’ll need for Beachcombing, another new pastime in Riven Tide.

How to get Merits for the Last Resort event in Arc Raiders

Like previous events, any XP you earn from playing matches is automatically converted into Merits. Since the number of Merits you earn per match is based on your XP earnings, I recommend killing as many robots and players as you can, looting containers, and extracting to progress as fast as possible.

However, you can also get Merits by finding miniature Ship Models. These are new trinket items of little wooden sailboats, and they’re worth grabbing for some bonus Merits and event progress. There are five different types of model ships to keep an eye out for:

  • Wind Sprite (common)
  • Twilight Compass (uncommon)
  • Velocity (rare)
  • Sirena Dorata (epic)
  • Leviathan’s Crown (legendary)

Note that you can play on any map to progress this event, not just the new Riven Tides beach resort, though that’s the only place you’ll find the Ship Models for bonus points. So, I recommend playing as much Riven Tides as you can, completing the new quests, hunting for buried treasure, and killing the Arc Turbines.

The Last Resort event has three pages of rewards to earn, so it’ll take you some time to complete it. These goodies include a new outfit and backpack, as well as 250 Raider Tokens that you can put towards a shop bundle. You need to progress through the reward track one by one, so there’s no rushing to your favourite rewards. In other words, don’t leave it till the last minute.
