Just like the original game, getting all the outfits isn’t simple in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, but for a slightly different reason. Most outfits are still bought from the merchants or crafted, but a few have moved locations for no apparent reason.
Everyone’s favourite Crimson Cloak, for example, is no longer available from the General Store. Likewise, loyalty outfits like Ezio’s robes are now behind quests. The remake also borrows a few tricks from Shadows to further complicate your wardrobe collection.
Rory Norris
When it comes to the Black Flag remake, the aspect that’s most interesting to me is what’s changed and what’s new. Replaying the game yet again all these years later, this time with a fresh lick of paint, I’m astonished by how much it has surprised me on my path to 100% open world completion. Something I thought I knew like the back of my hand is new again.
How to get all Black Flag Resynced outfits
There are 26 outfits in Resynced, or 28 if you’re counting the exclusive pre-order and Deluxe Edition bundles. You’ll get at least two outfits by default a short way into the story. You start with Duncan Walpole’s Robes for your trip to Havana, and when you leave, Cap’n Kenway will modify them, unlocking Edward Kenway’s Robes. Unlike the original game, you can swap back to Duncan’s Assassin robes if you’d rather they not be replaced.
If you’ve pre-ordered the game, you’ll be able to equip Blackbeard’s Crimson Outfit, and those with the Master Assassin pack (included in the Deluxe Edition) will also have the black and gold robes of the same name.
If you’ve played the original game, you’ll notice a few odd absences, despite Ubisoft stating that every legacy outfit would return. For example, we didn’t find the Officer and Explorer outfits, nor Ezio’s and Altair’s robes. I suspect the latter two will be available in the Exchange store in the future, however, similar to Connor’s outfit.
Here’s every other outfit you need to unlock:
Brown Cloak
The first outfit you can get is the Brown Cloak from the large chest in the Governor’s compound in the southeast of Havana, Dry Tortuga, at the following coordinates: 204,573. You can grab this while you’re sneaking around during the main mission, or return later.
Pirate Cloak
Purchase it for 600 Reales from the General Store after completing the main mission This Old Cove to liberate Great Inagua, Gibara. It’s basically the Brown Cloak but with a cool skull on the back.
Captain Drake’s Outfit
Loot the chest in the ocean off the northeast coast of Sacrifice Island, Conttoyor, at the following coordinates: 18,547. It will be marked when you use the nearby sync point.

Crimson Cloak
Complete the Anotto Bay treasure map. You can get the map by looting the warehouse in the northwest of Havana (205,600), then sail to Anotto Bay, northeast Charlotte (590,245) to collect the chest. This outfit was available immediately from the General Store in the original game.
Governor Outfit
Complete the Isla Providencia treasure map. Grab the map from the warehouse in the south of Nassau (594,750). You then need to progress the main story until you gain access to Isla Providencia, where you’ll find the buried treasure near boat wrecks on the southern beach (487,11).
Stealth Outfit
Just like the original game, you need to complete 16, just over half, of the Assassin Contracts. You’ll get the Stealth Outfit, plus the Hidden Ones Sigil legendary trinket. Completing every contract will net you the legendary Spring-Steel Swords.
Foreign Diplomat Disguise
You’ll get this fancy red overcoat as a disguise during the Sequence 12 main mission Governor No Longer and keep it afterwards.

Fully restore and upgrade every building at your base, including the manor, in Great Inagua, Gibara, unlocked after beating This Old Cove. You’ll need heaps of resources and Reales, so don’t expect to do this quickly.

Connor’s Outfit
To get Connor’s cool robes from Assassin’s Creed 3, you need to purchase them for 3,000 Keys from the Animus Exchange store. This is effectively the replacement for Uplay challenges which used to be the home of legacy Assassin outfits.
Nomad’s Bronze Ensemble
You can get the Nomad’s Bronze Ensemble for free at the bottom of the in-game store. You should also grab the Rustic Flintlocks and Shipmate Monkey while you’re here.
