Tracking down Conduit Crystal in Subnautica 2 is necessary if you want to craft either the Feedback Resonator or Bioscanner upgrade, modifying your pre-existing tools with extra functions. You only need about five of these and this is the only thing they’re used for so far, meaning they’re easy enough to grab and never think about again.

You will, however, need the Tadpole Depth module to collect this material, so make sure to unlock and craft that so you can delve deeper and find this item.

Subnautica 2 Conduit Crystal location

You can find Conduit Crystal at lower depths, below 250 meters, specifically on the cliffs around the Alien Ruins’ Angel Comb below the Alien Power Plant, and on ledges by the other alien structures and habitations, too. Each node almost looks like a piece of coral dipped in molten metal, sticking up into the air.

The video above shows where to find the first, but in case you can’t see it:

  1. Head east-south-east from the Alien Ruins Research Base bearing about 120 degrees on the compass, descending until you spot the big purple tube leading to the Angel Comb
  2. Follow it a short way until you spot another purple tube splitting off to the right, plus some alien structures on the side
  3. Ascend onto the ledge to the left of the alien structure to find a Conduit Crystal

Simply blast it with your Sonic Resonator to harvest. I didn’t realise until after, but there’s actually another on the ledge directly below this, too, if you head down into the crater with the Angel Comb.

As shown in the second video below, if you head northeast from the Angel Comb, following the purple tube down the ravine, you can find two more Conduit Crystals to your right just before you reach the green-glowing pools.

Incidentally, you can scan the Feedback Resonator here, one of the two upgrades you need this material for.
