How to get the four new blueprints in Arc Raiders’ Riven Tides update

Arc Raiders’ big Riven Tides update has added another four new blueprints to find and collect. Predictably, everyone’s rushing to track them down so they can complete the collection (for now) and get to crafting new tools, especially for those embarking on an Expedition, who’ll have to say goodbye to their newfound knowledge in a couple of weeks.

I’ll warn you now that the four blueprints added in the latest update aren’t nearly as exciting as those that arrived in the previous Flashpoint update. There are no cool weapons like the Canto and Dolabra this time around, just some unique but rather weak tools.

Still, it’s worth nabbing them, even if it’s just for completionists’ sake.

The Riven Tides update has added four new blueprints:

  • White Flag: It’s just a white flag, which you could use to show other players you’re friendly.
  • Powered Descender: A glider used to mitigate fall damage if you deploy it while falling.
  • Crash Mat: An airbag used to decrease fall damage.
  • Tactical MK.3 (Smoke) augment: Deploys a smoke grenade when your shield breaks.

You can find the White Flag, Powered Descender, and Crash Mat blueprints in containers on the new Riven Tides map. I recommend looting every crate, drawer, and cabinet you come across, though I had the best luck searching the boxes in the exposed shipping crates in Stacking Yard. There are tons (seriously) of shipping containers here, many with broken sides revealing lootable, green containers. I found both the White Flag blueprint and the Powered Descender blueprint in a single match searching here. Otherwise, Panorama Azzurro Hotel and the Port Authority Building are also worth searching.

As for the Tactical MK.3 (Smoke) augment blueprint, you can get this just about anywhere you’d potentially find epic loot. As is usually the case with blueprints, I recommend going to Stella Montis and doing a loop around Medical Research, the workshops in Assembly, and the Security office in the Lobby, since there are heaps of boxes, cabinets, lockers, and drawers for you to search through.

Map conditions like Night Raid (which is available on the Riven Tides map, too) also offer increased loot quality, including odds at blueprints, though they are obviously tougher matches. If you’re up for the challenge, try farming for blueprints here.
