Riven Tides is Arc Raiders’ biggest update yet, and it brings yet another player project for you to work through. This time, it’s the Avian Alarm project, which sees you employing a bunch of birds to monitor seismic activity and atmospheric changes in Speranza.

Like previous player projects, you’ll need to scrounge up a bunch of different items to donate to the cause. And it’s a five-stage endeavour, unlike the shorter High-Gain Antenna, so don’t expect it to be a stroll by the sea. It’s also unique in that the first step is actually its own miniature quest.

Avian Alarm is a five-stage project which you’ll progress by donating various resources and items. Some of the materials you’ll need are quite rare or require you to search for them, so I recommend you start gathering materials for later stages and store them in your stash until you need them.

I’ll point out now that you need a bunch of the new Ship Model trinkets for stages two to five, where you’ll have the best luck doing Beachcombing using the Dockmaster’s Detector to dig up buried treasure. These stashes have a high chance of containing the Ship Models you need. There are five different types of model ships, though you don’t need the basic Windsprite one for this project.

Here are all five stages, how to get their required materials, and the rewards:

Initial Flock Intake (1/5)

The first stage of the Avian Alarm project breaks the trend, since it’s actually a unique quest step—no materials required. All you need to do is lay a bird trap next to the buoys buried in the sand in the Seabed area of Riven Tides, northeast of the Port Authority Building.

Reward: 1x Dockmaster’s Detector, 25x Raider Tokens

There’s no grand prize for completing the entire Avian Alarm project like we’ve seen in the past. Thankfully the rewards at each stage are actually pretty good considering the effort it takes, including 250 Raider Tokens and some unique cosmetic items.
